Some go more than that and come with the option of custom storage units. The desk can be moved between two units via wheels. There are four drawers of storage and two cabinets with doors. The Luna low-line loft bed, also known as a midi-storage bed is compact, and includes everything you require. A ladder that can be turned as well as a desk on wheels that slides in and out, and a three drawer cabinet and chest are all included. This midi loft that is compact and has storage comes with everything your child needs the desk slides into and out of the room on wheels, and there are three drawers to stash their toys or trinkets and a large cupboard to store their books in.
Some midi loft beds that have storage come with a desk already built into the bunk (as as shown in the picture above) Some, such as our Luna Midi Bunk have the ladder set on the right side so that the desk can be put at the left (please inquire in store, or on the phone, or in the comments section when you're looking around if this is important to you).
Most loft beds for midi require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden base. The cost of the bed doesn't include the mattress. We suggest checking our mattress deals to find one that fits your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds are compatible with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail that gives you peace of mind. Some models have a fantastic pull-out drawer that can be used for sleepovers or more storage space below the bed. They can be open or have doors (please see the product details for full information).
Many midi cabins come with the option of a desk that can be moved between the two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This provides children with a unique space to store their belongings, and you don't have to take up valuable floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.
A few models have even taken it an extra step with cabinet style storage that is flush mounted or part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storage of toys and books.
